During the Covid 19 shutdown, many valley residents found themselves cut off from their families and community. With no in-person gatherings, churches were forced to connect virtually with their members or not at all.
That shined a spotlight on a glaring problem, a large number of faith-based groups didn’t have a way to inform the community of vital services that were available to help residents. On Sundays, they also didn’t have a way for members to fellowship with each other.
Several issues caused this problem. First, many of the sites didn't have access to adequate broadband internet. Some didn’t understand how the live stream technology worked. Others had the desire to try it but, simply lacked the capital to purchase the necessary equipment to get started.
What's Included…
Through the Moses Project we provide a virtual video system capable of live streaming Sunday services as well as broadcasting virtual events and announcements for the community throughout the week.
The Moses Project also provides technical training sessions called Stream Camps where volunteers learn how to operate the equipment.
The Moses Project is completely free to qualified churches. Funding for this program has been provided by the CVNMTC foundation and private donors from across California.
