Our Story

Bailey Inc. Foundation

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on underrepresented communities in Fresno and the surrounding central valley. These communities have been disproportionately affected, and many are facing serious mental and emotional challenges due to the limiting of in-person Sunday worship attendance. Local community churches play a vital role in providing support, including food and clothing giveaways, counseling, and tutoring, and Sunday worship is an essential source of emotional and physical connection for many church members.

Furthermore, the pandemic's restrictions made it difficult for many churches to operate, as many of their ministries rely on donations that are often collected at various gatherings. This problem is compounded by the lack of technology in many churches in underserved areas. Due to a lack of financial resources and knowledge, these churches are lagging behind their peers in more affluent areas in terms of sound and video quality in worship services, website development, and live streaming capabilities.

Bridging the technology gap to ensure they have the resources they need to thrive

In response to these challenges, Bailey Inc, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, was established to help churches close the technology gap. The organization's primary objective is to bring broadband access to communities that lack it through The Moses Project. The project facilitates the delivery of the necessary broadband internet with appropriate bandwidth to each site, providing churches with the equipment they need to live stream their meetings, hold virtual workshops, and offer other community programs. The Moses Project also conducts training sessions for volunteers to operate the equipment, and best of all, it comes to the church at no cost.

Bailey Inc is committed to supporting underrepresented communities.
